The CherryTeam,

Ophelia Ishak,
Founder
The visionary shaping Cherrytale. A woman who turns lived experience into language and challenges into purpose. Her journey through womanhood ,shaped by her Surinamese roots and the intergenerational stories they carry,
fuels a mission to redefine how female stories are told, understood and remembered. Guided by an instinct to study the emotional, cultural and generational layers of being a woman, She shapes Cherrytale as a space built from the female gaze outward. Under her leadership, Cherrytale becomes more than a platform, it becomes a re-telling. A rewriting. A reclamation of the narrative women have always carried, but have rarely been allowed to author.
Indra Bangaru,
Art & Diversity
The creative mind behind Cherrytale, From a young age, she began drawing the beauty of women. The diversity of the world continues to fascinate her every day, its many patterns, cultural expressions, and forms of representation. Growing up within two cultures, Hindustani-Guyanese and Dutch, has shaped a significant part of her vision as an illustrator. Her fascination with exploring social issues, traditions, and anthropology is woven throughout her work. Driven by empathy, personal experience, and a deep desire to give voice to women who are not always heard, her art becomes both an expression and an act of empowerment.

Samantha Klaren,
Connections & Experiences
The connector of Cherrytale. A woman who sees possibility in people, patterns and encounters. Samantha moves through the world with an instinct for bringing the right energies together, weaving relationships, community moments and shared experiences into something meaningful. Her work expands Cherrytale beyond a platform; through her hands it becomes a living network of women, stories and aligned opportunities. She builds spaces that feel warm, intentional and deeply human, guiding every experience back to our mission: gathering people through the female gaze and crafting experiences that inspire, empower and uplift.
